Opening & Welcoming Your Story with Organic Cacao: We begin by getting to know each other and opening the space. You will have the opportunity to set your intentions for the ritual and share your story, so that we can meet in this space where I support you in your intentions. You may share what you are experiencing, what moves through you, what feels alive, and what you wish to close, celebrate, or explore.
Together, we will welcome the medicine of Cacao, which carries an energy that facilitates heart-opening. Cacao supports us in weaving trust and presence, allowing us to embrace vulnerability.
Manteada: With the support of the Rebozo, the body is gently rocked, shaken, and massaged to help release another layer of muscular, emotional, and energetic tension stored in the body.
Cerrada: Seven Rebozos are used to close and support the body. One of the symbolic meanings of the Rebozo is that of the grandmother archetype—wise and nurturing—holding the space with both gentleness and firmness.
Herbal Tea & Closing the Space: Accompanied by a soothing herbal tea, we reflect together on the experience and gently close the ritual.

Introduction to the Herbs: I will introduce the ally plants, their properties, energies, and medicine. You will choose which plants you would like to accompany you during the Temazcal and the purifying bath.
Home Temazcal: This is a home herbal steam sauna. Wrapped in warmth and accompanied by chants, this step invites release, detoxification, and letting go—sweating out what no longer serves you.
Purifying Herbal Bath: The plants continue to offer their support while the water acts as a guardian of your memories and a compassionate witness to your cleansing and transformational process.

Rest: A period of rest and integration, wrapped in the warmth of a “burrito” of blankets.
Meal: Nutritious, organic soup and snacks.

A Rebozo ritual healing is a sacred space of presence and gentleness that we offer ourselves to honor the end of a cycle or support a transition. It is a space where we can let go of what needs to be released and allow what wants to be seen and carried to emerge.
Whether following an early pregnancy loss, childbirth, grief, a wedding, a separation, or any life event calling for resilience, this ritual is here to support you.
Guided by the medicine of the Rebozo, plants, song, and the four elements, this ritual invites an inward journey. It allows a meeting with the parts of ourselves that need to be cradled, the cycles coming to completion, and the new paths ready to open.
Traditionally, this care is offered to women by Parteras (Mexican midwives) or women of the community during the postpartum period to support families through this important transition.
It is both a privilege and an honor to share, with reverence and humility, this powerful Mexican medicine with the people of my community.
